The next trend is active personalization. You can personalize stocks, bonuses and even the products themselves, creating for each buyer individual offers that take into account his interests and needs. The implementation of personal offers may vary, depending on the products, pricing policy and other features of a particular online store.

An interesting trend for e-commerce in 2018 is also the promotion of useful thematic content along with the promotion of goods. This trend is related to the need of buyers to study in detail all possible information about products: potential buyers need tips, instructions, reviews and comparisons, and if they find them on the pages of the store or on its social sites, then the interest in buying it in this store will be higher.

Another trend is the emphasis on naturalness. Nowadays, much more attractive to the target audience are the most natural photos, where the power of graphic editors like the famous Photoshop is not used. For potential buyers who see advertisements in online stores not “glossy” models, but real people, it is easier to associate themselves with them, and they begin to perceive the stores as friendly and closer.

Finally, narrow specialization is also trending in e-commerce. Due to the huge number of similar goods stores, it is extremely difficult to compete with each other, which is why there is an increasing trend in e-commerce to concentrate on one small group of goods or even one exclusive product. With this approach, you can provide an individual approach to customer service and take your place in the sun.
